Littlewoods Ireland A/W 13 Press Day

Last month I was invited along to the Littlewoods Ireland A/W 13 press preview held at Fallon & Byrne. I had such a lovely evening, we were greeted with a champagne reception and had our photos taken before the fashion show started (which is exactly when my camera decided to die!). The preview itself laid out some of the key A/W trends which will be found at Littlewoods for the upcoming A/W season. Personally I prefer dressing for Autumn & Winter months, so I was really excited to see a rail of chunky knits, as well as an endless supply of party appropriate dresses. Littlewoods really pays attention to detail in the cut of their party dresses, if you're looking for a twist on an old classic I'd recommend checking out their range of dresses. I really liked the cut work detailing and flowing capped sleeves on the red dress in the middle.




I was so impressed with the quality of the accessories on display at the preview, this necklace would work equally as well with knitwear as it would paired with some bikinis in the summer. Wishing I had this piece for my trip to Ibiza next week. ACCESSORY ENVY.




I really liked the visual merchandising and use of props in the display areas. Who knew a pile of old books and lampshades could work so well?




My absolute favourite rail had to be the sequined party dresses. If you know me you'll be fully aware that sequins and embellishment are one of my most loved aspects of A/W dressing. The front dress was one of my favourite picks from the entire collection, the studding worked so well with the sheer black fabric, making for a really glamorous and more 'grown up' party look.

Keep an eye on the Littlewoods Ireland website for their A/W range, I know that some of the pieces have already landed. I'm already eagerly planning my winter outfits after looking through their collection.
