House of Fraser Dublin S/S 13 Press Day

I had the privilege of attending the House of Fraser S/S 13 Press preview day last month. The preview was filled with lots of colour, embellishment and key pieces to build the perfect Summer wardrobe around. Click below to take a look at my top picks from the day



Amazing Michael Kors sandals, NEED these for my Summer Holiday!

Biba can do no wrong in my opinion, from their loud prints to Mermaid reminiscent handbags I absolutely adore all their S/S pieces.

Lots of amazing collar embellishment, no need for jewellery with these pieces - just throw on your blouse and go

Lots of highly embellished pieces were on display, proving that sequins are not just for the party season. Channel your inner Mermaid with this amazing Pied a Terre dress

I was pleasantly surprised with the Pied a Terre collection, lots of gorgeous colours punctuated with statement neon clutches

Perspex and transparent bags are a huge trend for S/S 13

The minimalism and colour blocking in this clutch is similar to that seen at Celine

I'm loving the perforated leather in this clutch, combined with the transparent chain handle it makes for the perfect Sports Lux accessory

Overall I think House of Fraser have done a great job in selecting pieces that have longevity, although there are subtle nods to current trends nothing is overly trend focused. I attended this event with my Mam and we both found ourselves ooh-ing and ahh-ing over multiple pieces (even over the same piece on some occasions!). For me, this proves that the buying team at HOF really know their stuff have catered for everyone with careful consideration on everything from price points to age groups.
