Oasis teams up with Ireland AM once again to launch "My Personal Stylist 2012" campaign
The ultimate competition to win a dream job as a fashion stylist
Following its huge success last year, Oasis and Ireland AM today announced another collaboration to run the unique "My Personal Stylist" competition for the second year running - an exciting competition with the ultimate prize - a job as a stylist in an Oasis Ireland store. Oasis, which has operated in Ireland since 1994, is a leading High Street fashion brand and last year introduced a new initiative called "My Personal Stylist", where 3 key outlets have a stylist in-store providing free styling advice, personal consultations and one-on-one customer service.
This scheme has proved so successful for Oasis that they are teaming up once more with Ireland AM to find more budding stylists to be trained to work in stores nationwide.  For 4 weeks, Ireland AM viewers will be able to watch the selected candidates progress through a series of fashion and styling related tasks. Full training and a stylist tool-kit will be provided to the successful candidates, as well as an attractive list of benefits.
The competition runs over 4 weeks, and Ireland AM will follow the candidates each week as they are set various challenges by the judges. There are 3 jobs in total, in 3 locations around the country: Oasis St. Stephen’s Green Dublin, Oasis Dundrum Town Centre Dublin and Oasis Patrick Street Cork.
The judges - who will determine who gets to win the ultimate prize of a job with Oasis Ireland - have a wealth of fashion and styling experience between them. Once again, Ian Galvin, Chairman of Oasis Fashions Ireland will be joined by Bairbre Power, Fashion Editor of the Irish Independent and Editor of the Irish Independent Weekend Magazine, and top stylist and author Lisa Fitzpatrick, who is a regular face on Ireland AM with her style clinics and fashion advice. This year, the judges will be joined by some other familiar faces from the Irish fashion scene, to help them set the tasks and evaluate the performances.
Ian Galvin, Chairman of Oasis Fashions Ireland said: "This is an amazing opportunity for anyone who truly aspires to a career in fashion. Teaming up with Ireland AM allows Oasis to get nationwide reach in our search for the best candidates across the country. It was a tough competition last year and this year will be no different. Ireland AM viewers will be able to watch the candidates as they progress through the tasks towards the ultimate prize of a job as a stylist with Oasis".
If you are interested in taking part and applying for one of the 3 roles as a personal stylist with Oasis Ireland in any of the 3 locations, log onto www.oasis-stores.com/mypersonalstylist  and complete the online application form. Alternatively you can download the form, complete it and drop it into your nearest Oasis store. Application forms can also be picked up in main Oasis stores nationwide.
