Some behind the scenes photos of my first studio shoot I did as part of my college work. My friend Bronagh kindly agreed to be my model for the day, and I think she looks amazing! I really enjoyed styling the shoot, it was inspired by a Helmut Newton photo and Christopher Kane's campaign for his Topshop collection.
This is the finished photo I submitted

Here's a few more photos I edited in my own time, Bronagh looks too good not to share them!

Body - Christopher Kane for Topshop
Skirt - Made by my Mommy
Cycling shorts - Topshop
Cuffs - H&M
Ring - Topshop Sale (old)
Necklace - Vintage
Oh wow amazing! I love the photography your so lucky to have been apart of that!(:

I prefer behind the scenes to actual photographs sometimes, it gives more personality to them! x

Oh God these pictures look so cool, i am absoultely considered doing photography in uni, but i keep wondering if it is worth it- what do you think about your course? I took it in A-levels but we learned absolutely nothing since the whole two years was just practical work :/ (school system in new zealand is an absolute joke.)
ReplyDeleteLooks so much fun doing a photoshoot :)
great post! i have given your blog an award... check it out here:

You've really styled this outfit creatively. Would never have thought to put the cycling shorts underneath a transparent skirt but it so works! The cuffs and eyelet detail on the body really toughen up the look. Love the galactic effects on the last two photos, they remind me of Christopher Kane's beautiful digi-prints. x
