I'm not really one for beauty posts, in fact this is my first ever one. I'm not at all an expert and I don't have a big interest in trying different make up products, I just stick with whatever works best for me.
The one beauty item I do slightly indulge in is lipsticks. In particular MAC lipsticks. I really like how changing your lipstick can easily transform your whole outfit.
For me MAC offers a great range of colours, I'm all for trying out different shades as opposed to the usual red, pink & nude. I also find MAC lipsticks to have great pigmentation and last a long time.
My next MAC lipstick I wish to purchase is Morange, a bright orange. It was sold out when I tried last week. What's your favourite shade?

Gorgeous collection :) I went a bit crazy over the poppy king lipstick range for no7 when it came out... I own all but one of the shades, they are all quite nude, pink and red.

Yes, definitely try Morange AND Lady Danger is a nice orange/red colour.

I only have one so far but I loooovvvee Mac lipsticks! I have Snob a barbie/pale pink shade.. i think its quite similar to saint germain but in a satin finish! I think Hue is next on my list! xx

Brave- is like a deep red/brown... hard to explain.. very matte
Hue- a nude-almost pink sheen
Odyssey- like a deep red, it's in my NYE post :)
BUT you may want to check them on the MAC website to see for yourself as I'm AWFUL at describing things.

ReplyDeleteSometimes I think the "non-expert, non-beauty blogger" sort of opinion is better! :) I'm desperate to try some Mac lipsticks - I was never a lipstick person until like last month but now I'm so eager to build up a collection. Very jealous of yours! Lipstick really can complete a look :)

I am as of the same opinion as you sweetie when it comes to make up,don't tend to switch it up an awful lot and just to stick to what i know but with that said i must say i just had some Mac make up for Christmas and its amazing!!! And you are sooo right when it comes to a lipstick and it having a big impact on a outfit :)
